Monday - Saturday: The trip was a great success. It had a great ending Saturday when Kort and I went to the BYU vs UU football game. Thanksgiving day was wonderful. It was especially nice because we were able to share it with Caroline's parents and family and my mother.
Sunday: We made a trip to BYU and walked through the Botanical Gardens. Kort jumped into a mud pit and it engulfed his shoe. Dad had to rescue the shoe covered in mud. We ended the walk in the Eyring Science Building. It is full of small expierments that the kids really enjoyed.
Saturday: We had a late start this morning. We left Hollister at 11:30AM and arrived in Orem at 1:00AM. It was actually a nice drive. We are looking forward to having thanksgiving in a state that has a real fall season. Hotel K's was alive and kicking. The red carpet was rolled out as usual. The kids room's were full of goodies and fresh cookies were in the kitchen.
We had an email from Dicksons when we arrived. It said:
"Hi guys. Bradley is taking good care of Izzy. He almost passed up going to Bonfante Gardens with Parker today so he could stay with Izzy. But we assured him, Izzy would be fine. We brought Izzy over to our yard this afternoon and she was really hyper and fun. The kids loved it. Bradley tucked her in just now and she is very happy. He says tomorrow is going to be his best Sunday ever, because he gets to take her for a walk. Thanks for asking him to take care of her while you’re away. It has made his week! But we REALLY miss you guys!! I can’t believe how strange and quiet it is without you here. I don’t like it at all. Kayla is missing Kylii already.
p.s. Did you tell Bradley that Izzy could sleep in his room? He’s planning a sleepover with Izzy one of these nights. ;-) Loren even suggested that Bradley sleep in your garage with Izzy. Bradley was seriously ready to do that! Funny boy."
