It's been a nice relaxing Father's Day, which seems funny coming from the mouth of someone who is not a father. Hopefully my husband will concur that it was, in fact, a nice day. After all, we did make breakfast and lunch for him (although it is 8pm and still no dinner---guess I ran out of steam). And he was able to enjoy watching an intense game of golf on tv. Is there such a thing as an "intense game of golf"? Apparently there is as we witnessed Tiger Woods accomplish the impossible. I have to admit, I don't mind watching golf on tv. I think it's because it's so calm, quiet, and slow. Totally my pace for a Sunday afternoon (which seems to be the only time golf is ever on tv, AND the only time I've ever watched it).
As a tribute to the father of my kids, below is a slideshow I put together. I am grateful for the wonderful dad he is. His patience, love, compassion, dedication and understanding do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. However, they are not often acknowledged. I hope to redeem myself today. I love you Arnell!
