Since we moved to California 7 years ago, we've grown accustomed to sunny, warm Christmas days. The kids have always spent a good part of the day outside with their new toys. This year, however, was a little different. A huge storm blew in on Christmas Eve and we had heavy rain and wind throughout the night and into Christmas Day. It was beautiful all the same and we enjoyed being inside with the fire blazing. There is a special feeling that accompanies Christmas and this year was no exception. We had a great day and are so grateful for our families and dear friends, near and far. Most importantly we are grateful for this holiday that reminds us of the divinity of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the reality of His life on earth.
Posted below are a few pictures I managed to get during the day. My new camera battery was charging all morning so I missed some photo ops. Greenie mistake, I know.
Sorry Kylii! I didn't take any pictures of you Christmas Day! I'll make up for that in a later post. Check back soon for more about our trip to Utah.
