Post-Christmas Trip to Utah--Part II

We spent half of our trip in Orem, Utah, visiting my parents. As you can see from the pictures below, our kids had a ball in the snow. But a visit to Orem would not be complete without bowling at BYU. Our youngest daughter, Kamryn, bowled a score of 110 and beat us all, fair and square! I think I'll try her technique next time (sitting on the floor and pushing the ball with her feet).

In addition, we got to see our nephew, Tyson and his wife, Brittany, and their new baby boy. This is their second son/child. It's so fun to see their cute little family growing. They live in Santaquin, home of the infamous "Family Tree" restaurant. That place has been there forever. I went there on a group date for Sadie Hawkins or Sophomore Slide almost 20 years ago. We decided to give this country-cookin' diner a chance. It was still awesome!

The last day of our visit to Orem was spent at the movies with our Cox cousins and Spaghetti Factory for dinner. A great way to end our visit!
