Next to being a parent, I believe being a teacher is one of the hardest jobs that exists in this world. It's the last day of school and I can't help but feel gratitude for the many wonderful teachers my children have had over the years. Our school district is in serious financial trouble and many fine teachers have been laid off. I feel sadness for the struggle this poses. I wish I had the means to make it all better for them. I wish there was a way to give them all the credit and recognition they deserve. But I can't. All I can offer is my utmost appreciation and thanks. But I'll never really be able to thank them enough. These few pictures are just a small tribute.

Very well said! I have been so happy with all these wonderful teachers too! (although we've never had Mrs. Deetz, I've always been impressed with her) Great tribute!
We have great teachers at our school, I wish that they got paid what professional athletes get paid and professional athletes got paid what teachers get paid. Teachers are so much more important. Love great teachers!
I agree Caroline! Good teachers get laid off while some, well.. not so good go on and on and on. I am grateful for the good teachers my kids have had over the years too.
I forgot to tell you I love that photo of Mrs. Crepeau!
